Newfound car ownership will continue to delight as long as I can continue to partake in exchanges like thus:
MECHANIC: You should join AAA.
ME: Yeah, I’m slowly adjusting to the car thing since I haven’t had one in five years.
MECHANIC: Whoa, that’s a lot of walking! [AUDIBLE LAUGHTER]
ME: I was in a coma.
